TheChickenYard

Americana-Rock

About!

TheChickenYard is an Americana-Rock band from Western Massachusetts.  Members of TheChickenYard have been entertaining audiences of all ages since the 80’s. TheChickenYard hatched in 2011 to perform a catalog of music spanning from roots-rock originals written by frontman Paul Sticca, and a flock of covers of classic and modern roots-rock, country and blues.

TheChickenYard brings its own alternative, yet familiar, energy and sound to the stage and is currently promoting its second full-length album “Long Time Running” (2014) while recording their next album to be released in 2016. TheChickenYard is heavily influence by many of the artists that the band covers live, such as Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and The Rolling Stones.

TheChickenYard is working on its next full-length album (title to be announced), which is scheduled for release this summer.  For those who have asked and are waiting patiently, here's a little taste - cheers!!  "Sevens" - TheChickenYard.

Also, here's a preview of another track from the next album "Poor Man", which was performed acoustic, live on-air on Western Mass News prior to the full band's performance at the International Food Festival at the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds May 2016. Poor Man - Western Mass News.

Finally, the band was also featured in May on Blues & Roots Radio, The Troubadour Show. Host John Godfrey praised the band "Great track, track itself is called Sevens, please go and check them out -fantastic stuff."  B&R Radio Troubadour Show #162.    (bluesandrootsradio.com & troubadourshow.com)
